The Haven Drop-In Center

respect, weekly support groups, hope, games, encouragement, fun activities, information, someone to talk to, someone to listen, friendship, education, crafts, referrals, members meetings, music, possibilities, assistance with resources, and people who care.

The Haven is proud to welcome Crisis Intervention Trained Officers to our campus.

New members are welcome!

Come join us as a member or volunteer your time and talent.  Our members are encouraged to participate in the daily operations and activities of the drop-in center.  We promote community events and involvement.

All people with a mental health diagnosis are welcome, regardless of race, creed, color, age, or sex.  We welcome you and your parents and spouses or significant other.  We believe in our recovery and support each other.

Because our center is peer operated, you will find our caring and supportive staff are open and available to our members and share a relationship based on mutual respect, commitment, and empowerment.

The Haven is Charlotte County's only peer-operated mental health drop-in center:  a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded by the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
